  Some of our clients have older homes that have been landscaped 15-20 years ago and would like to change and up date their landscapes.  
  In a lot of cases we will redesign their landscapes.  If this is the case Darren will meet with the clients to see what there ideas are or to see what changes they would like to see.  From there he will take the measurements and pictures that he needs to start the design.  At that point he will come up with a concept drawing that will then be shown to the customer for approval.  After the concept drawing is approved he will start on a more detailed plan that will include such things as types of decks or patios, as well as plants, etc.http://beta.naturesownidea.com/files/scan0003x2200.jpg
  In the bottom picture is an example of what the landscape looked like after it was redesigned, using one of Darren's drawings.

  At this Cottage Style house we installed a White Garden with a rustic Flagstone Walkway and Patio in the backyard.  We also installed a traditional white picket fence that had a Hicks Yew Hedge around the inside perimeter.  In this shady backyard garden we incorporated a Woodland theme, with lots of Ferns, Hosta's, Trilliums, Solomons Seal and of course Rhododendron's.  In the front yard which was more sunny we included some textured plant material like Boxwoods and Yews, that would contrast nicely with our Magnolia, Peonies & Viburnums and other white sun loving perennials.
